I have a customer that sent in a piece of cedar lumber. Problem is I only have a shopbot desktop. It is a simple project the customer wants The Hoppers routed into the blank. I was wondering if there was anyone around the Tulsa, Oklahoma area that could quote cutting this for me any help is greatly appreciated. The piece is 64" x 17" x 1 1/8".
Thanks,
I'm about 1.5 hrs east of Tulsa if you can't find anyone closer.

That would be perfect about how much do you think it would cost to do something like that
Can you send me a part works file?

can you get the piece to fit in the machine? If you can screw a piece of ply wood to the bottom and manualy index it carving each letter seperate or say 3 in a row do it on a scrap piece and mark how far you have to move for each letter.

Thank you so much for all of your advise. Jason thank you for offering your services. I think I am going to use the Fab Lab in Tulsa. I had no idea that thing even existed. It looks like a really neat place to visit. Thank you everyone.

I like the idea of indexing the material in. I do that all the time on my laser for longer pieces. I've indexed pieces over 9' long through an 18" table. :)

Mike- if you come to Tulsa to use the FabLab- give me a holler. I will try to meet you there. If you are already experienced using a desktop you will have no difficulty using the gantry machine. Its the same SB3 program.
Bring your part works files with you, you need to toolpath them on the FabLab computers so you use the correct post processors for the gantry machine. Also normally they require training before you can use the ShopBot, if I am with you that should not be a requirement.
PM me.. and I will get you my contact info.
