I'm watching for a used PRS Buddy 48 and trying to get a handle on potential servicing costs, if they are or come to be needed. Does anyone happen to know roughly what the current replacement costs are for:
1. a 7.2:1 alpha stepper and
2. the matching alpha driver.
I'm assuming those would likely be the highest cost items other than if a bulldozer ran over the machine or am I missing other potential high cost items? I'm also assuming a machine on average say three years old.

1) $400
2) $900

Thanks much Brady. That's pretty darn reasonable for that kind of capability. Does that incl the gear head too?

Yes. No cable...those are expensive. Somewhere in the $100-170 range for a BT, although I haven't looked them up in a while.
