Hi all,

New owner of a 96/48 since one month. I have some problems sometimes concerning the spindle who don't follow the correct partworks path (see photo) on plywood. I had in mind with Alpha driver option, it was "impossible" to miss a path (finally i don't know the really alpha driver benefit ? ! Maybe i was a bit naive ... does it means i want to go too fast ( i have choosen 75mm/s for the feed rate with 6mm diameter bit and 2 mm pass depth) ?
- Maybe it is the connection with my computer which is not so good ?
- Do i need to set up the alpha driver control system ?

Thanks for your reply.

Pierre.

Thanks,

Pierre - Run a BARE copper wire (small/thin maybe 1mm or less - flexible, but not 'stranded' with multi-conductors) right through your dust collection system. Just poke it out where the dust foot hose meets the larger dust collection hose and then clamp it. On the dust collector side, poke the wire out of the hose and tie it off to electrical ground. If you verify ground continuity between the chassis of the DC and your electrical system ground, you can just tie off the wire to one of the screws/bolts on the DC chassis.

See if that helps the situation...
