When X1 works X2 doesn't and viceversa

Fellow Shopbotters, is there something else to look for on the Control Box's circuit board to fix motors failing to start other than their stepper drivers and connections? I can imagine a wide range of things varying from resistors to integrated circuits.

switch the wires on the x1 and x2 and see if it follows the switch.
