Interested in purchasing a 5 axis machine, does anybody know the overall height of this machine?

Also the website says: "It does not have sufficient rigidity or aggressiveness for production machining of hardwood or aluminum."
Will it be able to machine plywood and MDF? I'm still researching my materials but am leaning towards Ren Shape or Butter-Board type materials but don't want to be too limited in what I can do.

Anybody with any knowledge of this machine.......I'd be glad to hear any pros/cons.

Thanks!

If my memory serves me correctly, it is around 93" tall. Call SB to confirm.

Please explain your application, and how you plan on using the tool. 5-axis may not be needed. It would not be a good choice if you want to do furniture or cabinet parts one day, and 3D machine a model car body the next.

Give us a call. If you send us a model and some material we can do a demo cut, we will video the cut for you to see.

I would mainly be machining check fixtures and other manufacturing aides so 5 axis would be a must. But I'd also like to be able to other things as well.

I'll call SB and check on the height and also about sending them some material and a model or maybe even the the possibility of stopping by to see a machine in person.

Thanks!
