ShopBot with upgraded Control Cards. Version 3.8.02 Released 2/28/13

I tried upgrading the software to Version in title.

It will not recognize the controller . V209 on 4G upgrade board I bought and installed 2 weeks ago .
It will not go into preview mode just get the design mode , shopbot preview ( Vectric software )

I have uninstalled all shopbot software and reloaded multiple times.
ShopBot speed tester works fine all the time .

Still cannot get 3.8 to recognize the controller .

I am back to 3.6 and appears to be fine

Found this file and was able to get firmware downloaded

C:\Program Files (x86)\ShopBot\ShopBot 3\ControlBoxLoader

It will now find the controller , but only after it tell me it cannot find it . I tell it to retry and it works .

It will not run the speed test as it cannot find the controller card ie does not recognize the port even when I tell it which port .

I like the interface better on this upgrade but would like to be able to run speed test ...

Did you install the new control box firmware? Go to Utilities|Install firmware and follow the prompts.

Interesting if you hit Post Reply button under the last post it will ask you to login . The Post reply button on top of thread works right .

While that may have worked (sort of), you may have a bad install. I'd uninstall and try again, but this time, do the firmware through SB3 on the menu at 'Utilities|Install firmware' and follow the prompts

The speed test does not apply to 3.8.02. See post #7 in this thread for more info.
