Concerning the 3.8.02 control software: I was attempting to perform a C3 to zero X/Y using the proximity switches. X performed flawlessly. When X was finished the SBP script stopped and exited as if there was nothing more to do. This happened repeatedly. Comparing the new script with the old there was nothing to account for the changed behaviour and executing the old script produced no change. Y proximity switch testing was simply not performed.
A careful reinstall of the software and driver seems to have resolved the problem.
