Missing file

Setting up desktop and system is telling me I'm missing 'slabbus.sys'. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you did not install the USB drivers when you installed the control software. Try installing the control software again with out having the Desktop plugged into the usb port.

I only plugged in usb cable once download was completed. Shopbot recommended I go to the website and download current version and try that. I did, but still getting same message.

Go into the device manager and see if there is a listing for shopbot under ports if there is uninstall and then do a search for new

slabbus.sys file is a common Windows file which is responsible for loading and processing the settings of related application or Windows function. A faulty slabbus.sys file can lead to slabbus.sys errors and bring you one of the below error messages:

Thanks to all who have offered suggestions. After further research I've discovered my laptop was underequipped to run the bot. Wife isn't real happy I repossesed her newly purchased laptop (I was using her old one) to resolve my problem. Probably the first of many issues to come.
