Anyone received Aspire 4.0 disks yet

Has anyone received their Aspire 4.0 disks in the mail yet? I am one of the lucky ones that fell into the 12 month window to get the upgrade for free. The vectric forum said that they were starting to mail them out last week, but I still haven't seen mine.

I got mine on Thursday. Great upgrade and even better 3d files.

Got mine on Tuesday this week. Haven't even had a chance to open it because I'm so busy with work. Good problem to have but I want SOOOOOO bad to play with the new stuff.... :(

Hi all. I just downloaded Aspire 4 and need to know how to find and add the right post processor. I see posts about "arc_inch_speed" and "*.sbp" but I am at a loss where to find them and where the one I want goes. Guidance please because I am really excited to try some of the tools...

Hi Marcel,

The posts processors are installed with the software and can be found in your user data folder which can be accessed by the file menu 'Open Aplication Data Folder', but all you have to do is select the one you want from the drop down list when you save out a toolpath. See attached image

I was hoping to receive Aspire 4 by now (the disk). I am really interested in the Gadgets, I think they were updating the card board box Gadget that you use a drag knife to cut the patterns out.
It’s been way over 2 weeks. Did they forget me?

The Vectric newsletter sent out today says give it till the 15th, then contact them if you haven't received the disks.

Still no disks on the 15th for me. I emailed Vectric and Mark replied that he is checking into it for me.

I also emailed Mark and here is his reply:



Sorry to hear that you have not received the disks yet,
as we mentioned when you purchased, the disks did not actually begin shipping
until the end of March. This is why we restricted the new version to
existing users of Aspire.

If you can please confirm your shipping address, I will pass this on to
our dispatch will arrange for another copy to be sent out to you.
We will forward you the tracking number you the shipment tracking number
as soon as we have this.

Mark figured out why my disks had not been mailed. You actually have to order them at zero dollars using the link that was sent in the Vectric email. This was the link to download Aspire 4.0.
