Type pattern file to download

I just purchased a Shopbot Buddy and Aspire. Will be delivered in a few weeks (shopbot) and received the Aspire on Friday. I own a Carvewright also and have been downloading .ptn files from Vectorclip3d.com. I want to download files for the Aspire/Shopbot now. I think that I should be downloading the .stl files now. Is that correct. Thanks for you input. I also have a couple of files I want to download from Vectorart3d.com. Are there any other sites for quality patterns?

For 3-d files I get most from

I download them as v3m files. I then import them into aspire

If you purchased files from vectorart3d then log in and redownload your PTN's as crv or .stls
