I've looked at Amana Tools any other suggestions where I can purchase round over, ogee, or chamfer bits for my spindle desktop cnc?

Whitehouse (http://www.whitesiderouterbits.com/catalog.html) has some nice bits. For carving and other bits www.precisebits.com
I am the Canadian Distributor for Precise Bits ( shameless plug lol) but don't sell to USA customers.
I think Joey from Camaster is a dealer or ? with usroutertools. Good source as he has cnc knowledge as well. We here advise customers daily about bits. We promote buying from a supplier that has user knowledge of the bits. It will help you get the products you need instead of a salesman just trying to sell and limited to no knowledge at all.
Gary Beckwith is also a USA Onsrud dealer. http://www.beckwithdecor.com/index.htm

I have purchased from Gary Beckwith and like the coated ball nose very much. I bought long end mill for guitars from McMaster-Carr. I have been buying the coated bits... not sure why, except they not much more and hopefully last longer.

The coated bits will last longer. The coating helps reduce heat when machining and thus extend the life of you bit. :)

Vortex is another place. You can do a search for them by putting in plunge and the style you want.

Glen, concerning Whiteside bits,,,, I looked at their website, and found no information on ordering or prices.
Do they sell directly, or only through retailers? How can I check out their prices? Where can I get the best purchase price on Whiteside bits?
Thanks, Chuck
