Bot Freezing Up?

Trying to keep everything up to date, so installed new control card in the alpha and new control software. Installed the firmware.... The darn thing keeps stopping in the middle of a cut file. haven't had the best luck with support fixing the problem. Got any ideas?

Lots of threads about the 3.8 version, spend some time with the search box. Go back to 3.6.44

Thanks, didn't realize there were problems? Took the advice and went back to 3.6.44, at least I'm back to production. Thanks

Seems to be one of those updates that either works for you or doesn't. There are people, like me, using it without any problems and there are also people who have show stopping problems with it.

It would be nice to find out what the common thread is so it works for everyone but given the number of variables involved I don't envy ShopBot that task.

Just out of curiosity how old is you computer. A computer tech told me, and forgive me if I don't say everything correctly. That the program can be written to usb1 or usb2. He said if wrtten to usb2, and you have 1 it could cause problems. My pc is a few years old, so it could have usb 1. I'm going to have him check it today. I passed this on to Frank and he was going to look into it?
