Hey There Everyone,
I have a question and I know Bill Young can get me the answer but maybe someone else also has it.:)
I have had my ShopBot running since 2004 and I REALLY want to change the wav when the Bot starts moving. I was at the Jamboree when the Alpha made it's debut with the sound of the Indy 500 when it moved :D not that I want that sound but I can't remember where to go to change it. Please someone HELP!

Thanks in advance, I know the truth is out there

BJ..
If you want to change the warning sound, proceed as follows:

Take the sound that you wish to use (in .WAV format) and copy it to: C:\Program Files (or x86 if 64 bit OS)\ShopBot\Shopbot3\Media
Rename SOUND7.wav to SOUND7_OEM.wav
Rename your wav file (or a copy of it) to SOUND7.wav

Allthough I liked the warning sound for safety reasons, I was wondering if it would disturb the other workers in our special circumstance . Very nice to know how to do the option.

Where does the default sound come from ??? Seems like something I heard on missile command or somewhere....

Thanks Gary, I will have to copy this post and keep it in a safe place so in a few more years, when I need a change, I will have the info on how to do it. ;-)
Oh and Curtis, I did a search on my PC for the SOUND7.wav and it came up in the pinball game for the installed microsoft games.

Could change it to... "HEY! Get out of the way you bunch of idiots, I'm going to be plowing through there in just a minute and you don't want to have to clean up the mess."

or some such.

OR that woman from the GPS... "Proceed to move your rear out of the way so I can starting cutting, you have arrived!"

:)

Or a more appropriate message for Harry might be:
"Please move all fingers from material before turning the vacumn on and starting machine"....:D
