To all those that are Fathers, Happy Father's Day!
To all those that are not... you have no idea. Best and Worst job in the world.
To all those whose Son just turned 18, just remember you can't legally kill them. I looked it up. :D

I was allowed to sleep until 7am today. A great treat since my 2 yr old usually gets me up by 5:30
Enjoy the day...

Congrats. I remember mine at 4 months. I don't know when enough time passed for him to turn 18, but somehow it did. And my girl is 15! She was only 8 when we got our Bot in 2006. Enjoy these times, they will be gone in what seems like seconds.

John,
What a cutie, however you need to take that chef hat off and replace it with a shopbot hat! Hopefully these shopbot kids won't grow up like this:

Right back at Robert et al. My son turned 20 this year and Robert I feel your pain....and happiness.
To all the fathers or to be take my advice and spend as much time as you can with them and your family. We had twins (one boy, one girl) and I worked ALLOT when they were growing up to give them things in life and pay the bills. I did miss allot of stuff but still took in lots as well. Just wish I could have been home more in the first 5 years of their life.
I realize some folks are in desperate times and hard to find work and I apologize if my suggestion ("that work can wait, it will be waiting there for you tomorrow, take the day and enjoy the people around you") is just not in the cards these days. I have had good fortune to seem to have work that was waiting for me. :)
Cheers to all and hope today was a good day. :)

I would but I am a chef. My family has owned and operated an Italian restaurant for 35 years. My Dad started it when he was 20. Well I am taking over so its my first passion and my CNC business is my second. Cooking runs in that little guys blood :D

AHHH...John I recall running a a restaurant at 15! My family had a fastfood franchise of several like McDonalds but it was a drive-in type and i was put to work at an early age. My cooking probably isn't like what you do and it was a lot of responsibility for a 15 yr old (i'm sure they were watching over my shoulder) but i look back at that type of thing and that is what taught me to be an entrepeneur.
I can proudly say that in my entire life I have never worked for anyone but myself. Many times it's not all it's cracked up to be, but i wouldn't change anything. But speaking of that you are going to have to buy him other hats anyway...Have you heard the old saying "a man who wears many hats"?

being in business you and him are going to need them...
