also
also after i machined the plastic which is not like wood ,then i drilled and tapped for the brass barb
The next batch will be barb fitting on either end so all four hook up in series
Again the work piece texture is important the glass was the best ,the pump was pulling 20 in and with the plywood it was 18
And i have used a 1/8 pegboard if i have to cut through as you do not want to damage the oring

Stan great stuff! To save a bit of time you can eliminate the tapped hole and just push the tube straight in. Initially I worried about this on commercial stuff but it really works.

I made these a while back for a project I was working on. The white one was for a lifting unit. I use a brake bleeder to supply the vac it is adjustable by the pressure regulator.

does a brake bleeder require a good supply of compressed air and a good flow for 4 pucks?

I have a large compressor bit it holds really good with the pressure down to about 20lbs

I have had good results with these hold down pucks,i think the oring is better than a adhesive seal

small vac holding device 4 inx 4in puck machined from plastic, corners are taken off
for screw holes to mount to a cnc table ,centre nachined out to create a better vac area,
brass barbed fitting and plug added as these can be used in series, took about 20 min
work very well alone or in a bunch of 4

Just another idea for vacuum connections that I used. Using 1/4" polyethylene tubing I used these push on/pull off connectors instead of the barb type.
