I've cut .25 and .375 acrylic before but never anything this thick.
Anything I should consider when cutting acrylic this thick.
Here's a picture of the parts they want cut out
Thanks Brian

I just use the same settings for .75 and 1 inch acrylic as I use for the thinner stuff.

on think stuff where chip evacuation can be a problem i like to make a wider pocket cut through about 75% of it and then let it profile. just so the chips have somewhere to go

Any chance you can use cast acrylic, instead of extruded? Machines much better, albeit at a substantially higher cost...

I plan on doing an offset cut of .03-06 then do a cleanup pass at full depth.
I'm not supplying the material
Cast would put this job past what the client wants to spend.
Thank Brian

Single flute straight o-flute seems to work best if you have to use extruded.

Some jobs you just have to say no thanks to, and that would be one of them if you can't use cast. At the least, make sure they know that there could be problems with the material and that you won't replace it at your cost.
