I need to edit a post processor. I don't want the cnc to return home when I have more than one toolpath saved together. Right now I use the arch inch and it will run the first toolpath and then return to home and then run the second toolpath and then go home and stop. I have editted this myself before but can't remember. I tried editting one this afternoon and for some reason it changed the cut speed from 4ips to 3.98ips. ??

You can always leave it alone & just use the file editor and wipe out (or insert) whatever lines you want...It's easy to get into trouble messing with posts. Just a word to the wise...;)

If you look on the Help menu for VCarve/Aspire/Partworks there is a Post Processor editing guide.

It's pretty easy to do if you've edited things like that before but Brady is 100% right. If you're not sure what you're doing it's easy to get it very messed up.

thanks guys. I copied the arch inch post and editted it to do what I wanted. I did air cut testing before I tried cutting anything with my modified post. It worked out perfect. It took my awhile as I did some searching and made sure I understood what each line of the post did before editting or trying it. I just wanted machine to not go home when doing a second toolpath and not to return home when finished.
Thanks for advice and info. I tried searches before posting but had no luck. Must have been my wording in the search.

Cheers,
