I just bought the Shopbot Vegas show Benchtop and am trying to figure out how to install the Proximity switch on the Y axis. The difference, of course, is the Y gantry moves and the rollers are oriented differently than the X.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks--

John,
Have you read the S_home2.sbp file? If not, that is where you need to start.

John,
If you haven't done so already you might want to call Shopbot and ask to speak with Tim Elliot. He builds all of the benchtop machines, and I'm sure he can walk you through the steps you need...Bill P.

Hi Jonn,
It's Shopbot Tim, I will be glad to help with the switch install. The moving table has gear rack attached to a bracket. The back side of this bracket is where you mount the targets, one at each end. Be sure to set them up inside the stop bolts, we don't want to crash on the physical limits before the eletronic limits. The limit switch has a mounting bracket installed on the same bracket that the y motor attaches to. Let me know if you need more info or a photo. You can call mon-fri 8-5 or email me. My email is my first name @shopbottools.com Thank You Tim
