Halloween is coming up fast now is the time to make Items to sale and to have fun with. Make a Jack-o-lantern out of .5 ply wood. Draw a pumpkin with eyes and mouth, Make a box that will attach to the back so you can put a tea light in. Paint pumpkin orange. Do several with Different faces or expressions. Let me know if any of you need me to make you a design..

always stay ahead of the seasons. Have seasonal items ready at least a month before that seasons, Make only what you can sale, you can always in a pinch make a few more real quick.
you can also make a Jack-o-lantern that is square just add the eyes nose and mouth plus paint it orange.

Also Thanksgiving is coming up... start getting patterns ready to sale for that season..

Yep - years are going by too fast these days!

Here's one that always got a chuckle and sold well for Halloween; a balaced wine bottle holder - simple and inexpensive...

Time has flown for sure.

It's been tough, but I'm doing better. Losing Henry was difficult.

A friend stepped up with a 10 month old German Shepherd about a week ago and she is now ours, no charge. We haven't connected yet, one of those things, but it's nice having a dog around again.

She's completely different and ALREADY weighs 85 lbs. I'm still a little disconnected so it's going to be slow going. Haven't even thought about all the training yet.

It should be a good Halloween, we are gearing up for the events and demand now.

If I can get the 3-d file, I am going to make a Brady o Lantern to put out on the front porch.

I've been meaning to design some more "holiday themed" projects for my ShopBot Desktop as they are one of the few things that comes-up year after year. Although I like the 2D ghost pictures shown here... can have much more fun making some of these full 3D objects with layers and interlocks. I think I'll give a working guillotine a try. I designed one a while back for lasers

but I'd like to make something far beefier (as all router projects tend to be) and focused on just the guillotine itself. Any other ideas out there?

I was actually thinking more along these lines:

http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=17951

At the Maker Faire the Vectric folks had a lot of fun making and showing these 6pack totes, and of course getting the 'empty' bottles to fill em'!

A few years back my wife and I made a halloween bean bag toss game for the library, the backdrop was a haunted house and the bean bags were ghosts. Russ

Last year Jamie Oxenham posted a couple of 3d halloween files on the vectric forum. Maybe he will repost them this year. I have one of them and will ask him if I would be allowed to post them here giving him credit.

Jamie replied back and gave some links to the files.

I cut these last year and my daughter loved them.

Anybody mind converting those files into AI, EPS or CDR? I can't open them.
