We are only a two man shop with nine dust extraction inlets. Using a Jet Vortex pulling 1200 CFM. This works great with two inlets working away BUT if you forget to close the not used blast gates then you eventually get blockages. I have put an air cylinder on each gate hooked up to a solenoid valve. Turn the machine on and the blast gate opens. As soon as you turn it off the gate closes so its idiot proof.
The cylinders cost $7.49 free freight, and the solenoid valves $9.99 both on Ebay. Works on very very low pressure.
