I am Making my company sign for a show. I want to Make it out of western cedar. I want to stain the wood one color then v carve out the name and info. Then I want to re-stain the area that was carved out. Not knowing anything about Sikkens stains what would be the two best colors to do this with. Joe I have been told You do this a lot.. what is your advice.
Should do a search for my posts on the topic. It's all out there.

Thanks Joe. will try to find it... You post a lot. Which is a good thing.
I'm not too fond of making and routing. To me they are like oil and water. For rough cedar masking, which is the only mask I use, you should look for "Dr. Crumley's Rootin Tootin Snake Oil Mask"
I've posted many times on blending and Sikkens. Look for the catch work "Sikkens". But you gotta do the searches.
