I had our local UPS Store Manager to just Drop by. He wanted to know if I could make special wooden shipping boxes, I looked at what he wanted and asked him when he needed the box. He said if possible by friday. I said if you got about 30 minutes I can have it cut out for you ...

Check with your local Ups Stores take a business card and something you have cut out of ply wood to show. Offer your services to them. At times they need wooden boxes to ship items in for customers.

My local Store Found out about my shop from the Ups driver that picks up My products and theirs. They were looking for someone to make a wooden box.

The box he wanted took me 10 minutes to cut and about 20 to put together I got $70.00 for the box.

Wood was 1/4 inch I actually used scrap from the peace sign order.

This put my brain to thinking on Other places to offer Your services to is local Manufacturing. Tell them you can custom cut boxes, and support for their product and foam padding to lay product in. Just have them provide you a drawing of what they need cut or carved out.
