Is the drag knife as effective on a Buddy?

I was looking at the Donek drag knife (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMoRUZnvbXw) and I was wondering how well it works with a PowerStick. It must take a lot of force to cut, is the x movement strong enough to push/pull the material under the blade?

Would you say it's just as effective as a Full Size/Desktop, more effective or less?
