Steve… Are they wanting something “folded” and illuminated internally?

no just a simple sign to toss into the window.

Dibond is interesting in that the black core can be used as a line around the letters by just removing the thin Aluminum. It also inlays nicely… I’ve used the brushed aluminum set into black PVC for a good looking “no-painting” sigh! One caution… it looks horrible if you aren’t careful to keep all the “brush” going the same way!

I did these tap handles with pocketing the letters out hundreds of them. first sheet was great after that the centers kept popping off and the plastic was cutting with fuzzies all with the same toolpaths and new bits.
I never really design signs I just cut them out for other sign companies.

I did this several years ago. Brushed AL Dibond with Sintra PVC DS Taped to surface. Note assembly 'mask' to make sure there was perfect alignment to rendering.

I have not used that on small signs more for bigger signs when customers paint them themselves. for small ones I use a pen or cut on the inside of the line or pocket. but that method may be practical too. too bad I don't really do many assembled signs.
