There is an auction I really want to win. I somewhat collect pocket knives, and have a thing for the now discontinued Kershaw Double-cross model. I have about 5 of them. I have two I use as an everyday carry for work, I absolutely love the design, the feel, etc. A great pocket knife I was sorry to see discontinued about 2 years ago.
They made a limited (250pcs I think) number of these with a black wood handle and laminated steel blades... I have one NIB but I'd LOVE to have another.
The seller will ONLY sell within the USA, and has even blocked messages from anyone else (I usually beg, plead and prod to sell to a Canadian). If someone wants to win this for me, I will obviously pay for it, plus the forwarding postage to me in Canada and some extra for your troubles....
If you can assist a fellow Shopbotter - email me at ajcoholic@icloud.com
Thanks!
Andrew
PS you guys dont really want this knife for yourselves... they arent really that nice and the steel is poor ;)
PPS here is the listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/271359358622?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2648

Thanks Ken, but I just want to make sure just ONE of you actually try and buy it, so you dont bid it up against one another lol...
If you want to talk about my roll top, give me a call (email for the best time and phone#) or email is good too.

I might just have to "bid it up" just to make you pay dearly for it!
If you collect pocket knives i'll have to look but i think i have some old ones in a box from a relative that might be similar, i don't know anything about them. I did take some large knives to the Antiques Roadshow a while back and found the value on them.:D

eBay tip: Never place a bid until the last 30 seconds of the auction. That way, you won't tip your hand that another person is interested in the auction. Also, some dealers will bid up their own items if they know there is interest.

Use Bid Sniper FTW.
This! You can automatically have the system bid for you with seconds left, swooping in at the last second. It's the only way I bid now. :)

It looks like you've got this covered, Andrew. I'd be willing to help, myself. I send cigars to a lot of my buds up in Canada because they're crazy expensive up there. It's no big deal at all.
One friend recently helped me get a bottle of Cuban rum for another friend of mine. :)

I got this. I will snipe this for you at the end. :D
I never bid until moments before the bid closes.

Looks like Ken found me a store that still has some stock - and at a cheaper price that the ebay auction!
So I will be good to go on Kershaw double cross'es for a while :)

I did the "buy it now" option for you and paid $300.00 just to make sure you'd get it, so when can i expect a "check in the mail"?:rolleyes:
