Hi you would have gotten a program with your Shopbot called V-Carve Pro
you can import your EPS into that program..by going file /import and choose EPS then navigate to the EPS file on you Hard drive and when it comes in set it for inch or metric and then hit OK...it will be on your screen and hopefully ready for you to learn how to make a tool path...there are many videos on how to do this on the vectric website...and there are some good primers on the main Shopbot site as well ...if you want I can have a phone chat sometime and talk you through the basics just PM me your number Welcome to the world of CNC

Bruce...
What design software are you using?

Good Luck Bruce. I gave my bot a good ground to the earth with a copper rod. I was having comm port errors which stopped the machine during cuts. Also make sure you have a good computer with sufficient memory. I do carving which takes a great deal of memory. My son built me a great computer and I have had no problems since. Also pick up a couple of spare glass fuses for your control panel and keep them nearby. You will be glad you did when you blow a fuse. Joe

It's worth having a look at the tutorials on the ShopBot and Vectric sites.
Links are in my signature below.
Thanks for all the responses. I am still working my way through all the tutorials.
