But the price, would be my first objection. Almost 200 bucks seems like a lot for some "light to medium duty" table legs and I'd put emphasis on the light.

yes believe me that wasn't a suggestion to buy, but an idea to copy:D
it essentially is a flat C clamp and i could see how you could use the same attachment method with other type of legs. Other attachment methods are easier in the long run and guys like us see how we could do something way easier and better but this is designed for the Lame-o's who can't do anything but screw this in.:eek:

Once in a while I need a temp light table, and that got me thinking to use my Bessey k-clamps, Thanks:)

Cool idea, but 200 bucks? These things are a 20 dollar starving college kid walmart market.
I think that's where we'll see them soon. On the "as seen on tv" shelf with the Popiel pocket fisherman. :)

We used to make something way too similar at my old job. More decorative and a lot stronger. Plasma cut 4 x 4 x 1/4" hot rolled steel angle with a "throat & clamp. It would go on the corner or end of a large slabwood table.
