It's not bad, but I am noticing some chatter along the edge of my parts (3/4" melamine cut with a 3/8" compression bit). It just appears to be happening just along the X axis, the Y seems to be fine. I can feel some vibration on the gantry when it's traveling along the X axis. I don't think it's material/bit related, as I can feel it when the bit is under virtually no load.

I'm guessing it's either loose or worn pinions, but thought I'd check here before I started pulling things apart.

What does the cut quality look like on the waste side of the material ? Maybe a change in cut direction will help?

Forgot to mention that its a PRS Alpha 60x96.

PRS/PRT - worn pinions & v-roller lash on YZ (PRS) or Y and Z (PRT, incl t-rail)

PRT - check rails for burrs. File (by hand only) base of rail pyramid, polish with sandpaper and scotch pad.
