I wonder how that will affect people that own Delcam products. I have an older version but don't use it as but use Autocad a lot.

Wow what a bad move for owners of delcam products. I hate dealing with autodesk.

Although announced last Nov, it won't be final until Feb or later.
Delcam will be a subsidiary of Autodesk, there will be no difference to Delcam product users, your service support etc will remain the same via Delcam and its certified Reseller's. The same as your Autocad will remain by Autodesk.

This is no difference than say Textron owning Cessna, you still go to Cessna for your needs not Textron, so its business as usual.

Now the good thing about this will be the internal sharing of technology, the increase features to the various Delcam platforms.

Before everyone reads too much into this acquisition, the following link will take you to the official Delcam release statement.

if you have questions regarding your Delcam product then you should contact Delcam or your certified Reseller.

Well Im glad to see the transition that way. Sorry that I spoke out of turn.. I just have been so tired of dealing with autodesk for the last several years.

No problem Edward,
I think we all have our frustration buttons pushed at one time or another ;)
