Can anybody tell me if they have a three-dimensional test file that works in the Demo version of Aspire. The only files that I was able to use to test my demo version are the signs and the simple things that you can create in VCarve Pro.
I tried the free Maple leaf but it would not let me carve it. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you, John

you can not design and cut in the demo version. You have to use one of their samples in the demo to cut with your machine.
You can design and play with that, but not cut from it.

Hello John,
the files for the Trial version are designed to let customers ensure they have compatibility with their CNC machine. A V-Carve file does this just as well as a 3D file and is much smaller for download which is why we have that selection of machinable samples. Once you know you can run your machine then the Preview in the trial version will show you the result of what you would get when you cut 3D parts.
I am not sure what else you may be looking to test but if you just want to look at how your machine cuts a relief style 3D file you could always use Vector Art 3D Machinist, you can access, free software, samples and videos here: http://www.vectorart3d.com/machinist_free/ - Although this is nowhere near as sophisticated as Aspire it will give you an idea of how your machine will cut a 3D model.
Hope this helps,
thanks,
James
