I have produced some signs in Corian using v carve pro.
First I cover the corian with low tack contact paper, vcarve my sign, then spray with etching primer, let dry, then a flat black enamel paint, then peel off the paper.
It looks great, but will it hold up outside?
Is there special primer and or paint to use on corian?

Maybe some of our sign guys can chime in!:)

Thanks, John

With corian you can sand the paint off to get real sharp edges.

I made a address sign for my house about 4 years ago. It is installed outside in the weather. I didn't prime it. I just used a cheap spray paint and it still looks new today.

One of the paint can companies have a fusion paint which is suppose to adhere to plastic. I don't cover anything, just spray and sand off the over spray. Mine have been holding up for years.

It's a Krylon product and works quite well. There are very limited colors though.
