This year's Atlanta area Camp ShopBot is Saturday, February 22. Our host is Georgia State University's Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design located in downtown Atlanta. They have a great sculpture facility and are proud new owners of a 4'x8' PRS Alpha. Teachers and students are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Please register for this camp using our Google Form. This ensures that we have enough chairs and food for everyone. It also allows you to indicate which topics are of most interest to you.

Randy Johnson will be there with the Handibot and we hope to have a few guest presenters. Remember to bring something for the Show and Tell session: Your chance to present a project! Drop us an email at Campshopbot at g mail dot com if you have any questions.

Hey guys,
I've never been to a camp before, but would love to attend this one. Is there a fee to attend? Also do we need to bring our laptops with software or any other items or supplies?
Thanks,
Brian

Great questions. The Camps are free! Sponsored by ShopBot and with our hosts graciously opening their shops/schools for us. The Camps are presentation-based rather than hands-on: Think of them as a day of information inspiration, a chance to network with other ShopBot users and to hear about a variety of topics. Anything from machine maintenance to cutting aluminum or plastics to router feeds/speeds. You are more than welcome to bring a tablet or notebook to take notes, camera/smart phone to take photos since there will be quite a few project examples and business cards if you have them.

We do offer a few different types of more hands-on trainings- http://www.shopbottools.com/mSupport/training.htm
