Go to and single line

I had a comm error and want to restart from the last line it ended with. I've done this before but its not working this time. I've tried a combination of skip to, run to, go and run from here. I've downloaded the latest firmware and reset my settings and configurations.

What am I missing? Can someone give me the step by step procedure for clarification?

The new version of the software seems to have a problem with this feature. The only solution I have found is to delete all lines above the one you want to start from and save the file under a new name before running that file. Be sure to preserve the header.

That is a great idea. I never thought of that. I had a problem a few weeks ago I had to start back in middle of job. I will do that next time.

It's actually far easier than you might think. Just open it in the editor and scroll down to the line you want to star from. Select everything between it and the MS command and hit delete. If there are other tool paths (profiles, pockets, drill...) above that delete them as well.

Thanks Sean, it is good idea. However I noticed I did not have the latest version of the control software so I downloaded it todaay and now I can't get to the move/cut mode--input 1 light is not on?
