Since it's been so long since the last time i did this can you tell me the size of the hole, depth, the spacing vertically between them and the space horizontally between them?
My sides are going to 28" high and 12" deep in 3/4 plywood.
(working on about 2 hours sleep and just can't seem to reach the crank to get my gears turning:D)

You can use this as a starting point if you wish. I use 1/4 inch pins .4 deep.

Uppers built at 12" overall depth may have trouble getting loaded with today's dishes which tend to be larger in diameter then they used to be. I understand you are doing a back bar so that may not apply.

Yes the cabinets will be for alcohol bottles, glasses no dishes so i think it will be ok in that size. i'm making two 4' wide boxes and a 3' wide in the center and from there i'll decide door widths and how to handle the center cabinet with open shelves ,ect.
