We're looking at setting up an eCommerce store on Volusion. While they have lower cost plans, their $75/mo plan offers integration with Amazon and eBay. Just wondering if anyone here is using Volusion and what your results are like.

Looks like no one here is admitting to using Volusion - is it really that good! (chuckle). Seriously though, if not Volusion, is anyone using a similar eCommerce package to market their products and handle payments, etc.?

Volusion is not bad.

I myself like open source & FREE carts myself. I use, as well as am a developer on the virtuemart.net shopping cart for Joomla.

amazon and ebay integration is very valuable for some shops.
My store is google organic based sales. BUT, I know people who get 80% of their business from amazon & ebay.

With volusion, magento, etc. you can get up & running pretty fast. Nice templates etc.

Thanks much Alex,
I really appreciate the insight and I'm sure it could prove helpful to others as well. :)

$750.00 a year, it cost me about $1000 one time shot to have my own web site setup and have a shopping cart with integration to PayPal and a credit card processing company, could add google if I wanted it. Cost me I think about $200 a year then to have it hosted. I can add product and remove product on my Own as needed. Price my be higher now as it was a few years ago we made the move. I started with http://www.oscommerce.com they were ok but I had to do all the web site design and maintenance on the site. They may have better tools now. I use Web Site for Quilters to design and host my site. Good people to work with I have two sites with them.

One thing I forgot. I tried selling some things on eBay and Amazon, just remember they take a percentage of your sell price.
