Pretty basic question about working with these small gauge wires: how do you cleanly strip the insulation from them since the wires are a smaller gauge than electrical strippers will handle. And also, should there be something crimped onto the ends of these wires for clean contact with the terminal blocks?
Thanks All,

Randy

RadioShack has some adjustable wire strippers, Model: 6400223 (RadioShack brand) and Model: 84-213 (Stanley brand) that can be adjusted for light gauge wire. I've used the Stanley 84-213 for years to strip 30-gauge wire-wrap wire. I have several of the 6400223 preset for different gauges, one of which is set to strip ribbon cable, which is 26-28 gauge.
