Suggestions before buying?

I am a high school shop teacher. I would like to purchase a SB for our classroom.
What suggestions do you have?

What add on's would you recommend?

What do you wish you would have done differently?

Is a SB a good machine to teach students about digital manufacturing? Nested based manufacturing? Raster carving?

Can we design in Autocad 2014 and Inventor and import into the software for SB?

How is the tech support?

What can I expect for replacement part / maintenance budgets?
