Question about digital probe?

I am thinking that this would be a good fit for the SB digial probe (which
I unfortunately just got rid of). Any thoughts? Thanks Gene

Put it on a flatbed document scanner & import the photo into PartWorks. Then trace it out & scale to size. I do this all the time. No probe needed (or desired).

What Brady said! By the time you probe it you can draw it, create it and put it back in the engine.

I have a legal paper size scanner but it would have to be done in quarters
and then re-assembled (also will not lie flat because of the recessed glass
on the scanner- causing distortion. The trace is not a problem as we are a graphics shop. I got a probe with one of my SBots but never used it...
is there a tutorial or explanation of how they function? I am thinking of
taking a picture to get a rough offset (scaled of course) to the probe would
have a smaller field of operations? Thanks Gene
