I have an application where I need to add a protective coating to the sanded edge of shapes laminated of multiple layers of ¾” OSB board. The goals are both waterproofing and wear resistance. Due to this forum I was thinking of an epoxy, but I have no experience in choosing which one. Ease of application and relatively fast drying would be a plus, but I’ll consider anything that will accomplish the final need.

On some of the surfaces I would like to add slip resistance similar to that found on stairs or boat decks, could this be a component of the finish rather than applied by adhesive. Other surfaces need to be quite smooth; we were coating with sheet aluminum, but due to the surfaces being curved this becomes challenging.

You may be wondering, why not start with a higher quality board than OSB; in this case we've tried various options and other than it's weight the OSB was an improvement over all others.

Thank you for any help you may be able to offer from your experience.
