Sure - it's totally bogus! MC Escher could draw one, but no staircase can defy the laws of physics...
They even had a Kickstarter campaign that wanted $12,000 to produce the video and website. It was called, "The Stairwell Project: Building a Modern Myth (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1123493397/the-stairwell-project-building-a-modern-myth)."

Ron,
ok,then you give me a logical explanation of what i see in the video:confused::D
Your logical brain says what you said but i'm still confused:eek:
I don't think it is camera editing and i guess you have to be there to see it. In the video he carries a glass of water but i wonder if he had a angle gauge if that would tell you something.
Yes you could draw one on paper which was nothing more then an optical illusion but "I be like...what the he...?"

Special effects-if you check out the kid in the red shirt about 3 minutes in, you can see his arm disappear into the wall!

they are twins the they both walk up one flight at the same time. That way when she goes up she sees the first one and then when she goes back down she sees the second one

Split screen with 2 cameras. Watch this video,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzfdpY29nAs, which was in the sidebar of the original video.

Jack,
It was all a scam - well done - but a scam none-the-less:

Kind of reminds me of a typical magicians trick where they use twins.
Well i guess i fell for it:eek:
I thought i recalled our friend Mathias Wandel talking about this and that was what got me interested because i thought this was a complex architectural mystery that we could learn from. I guess i shouldn't read the net when i'm so exhausted.
