Hello Everyone, Sometimes when my bit goes down and touches the 0 Plate the Input #1 light comes on and stays on until the Z raises up. On the second z down to check it when the bit touches the plate the light comes on for a split second and goes off before the Z raises. The question i have am i getting a true 0 when that happens. Thanks

David, as long as the bit is touching the Z-plate input 1 should be green. Actually you should be touching the plate to the bit BEFORE you Z every time to make sure you HAVE a green light! Sounds like it's doing what it's supposed to. Have you been having any Z problems? I'd wait for more experienced people than me, but I'd say you're good to go unless you are having issues with it.

Say your plate is .127 inches thick. When the bit touches the zero plate the z reading on the screen should change to .127
Same for the second touch. After that, to check you can move the z to .127 and see if the plate just passes under...
