Reaction Diffusion Patterens

This may be something interesting to play around with to see if a 3D file or V-carve file could be made.

I don't have a Mac, so I can't check out the 'Great Scott App'. If you can, check it out let us know if something can be imported into Aspire/VCP/Artcam. Looks like an .obj can be saved out.

I have an Ipad, i wonder if it can be used there...i guess i'll have to pull it out and try.

You can download Ready0.6 (http://code.google.com/p/reaction-diffusion/) for free and generate such patterns. The math is well above my head but you can play and generate some interesting 2D or 3D patterns. Not sure how that would look when machined. Some of these patterns are very "busy" and it would take forever in 3d carving.
