clearance gap question

hi all, just a quick question, is there any way i can change the "rapid clearance gap" while the machine is running?

In the post processor Material Set up first icon in v carve

i know i can do it within the software parameters but assuming it is set at .25" and i want to raise it to .5" but do not want to recalculate toolpaths thru v carve, is there any settings on the shopbot software that can change this value?

No, there isn't, it's set in the sbp file. Pretty quick and painless to change it in material setup on the toolpath tab and then recalculate/save.

You could open the sbp file in an editor and do a find/replace, but depending on file size, that could take a while.

thank guys...was just curious to know...i am sometimes forgetful and its only when the bot is in operation then i sometimes see my mistakes...lol
