I'm looking for Dana's original post (Can't find it) on using the upper Z prox switch during a C2 to set the safe Z pull up to max height. Adrian had mentioned it in a previous post. If I'm understanding it correctly, after touching off the plate it retracts to the upper Prox switch and then resets Safe Z Pull Up to that max height and prevents you from topping out. Is this correct? Just starting to reference off spoilboard so I can dimension blanks exactly using Z-(whatever thickness required) without measuring each board beforehand. I was using VC to set safe pullup, but used a different file to, cut measured from top of material, with thicker stock afterwards and promptly topped Desktop out. Looking to avoid changing VC every time I swap back and forth.
Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding this.
