I have NO idea what/how the student did this but while zeroing the Z something went awry.
error message says to reset the stop switch: how do you do this on the desktop? I looked in the SB help files and can't find a reference to this.
thanks!

Karl,
Cycle the Desktop power & restart the computer to see if this fixes it. If not, then goto the VN command and change the E-stop to the opposite state (open if closed; closed if open [closed is default]) and see if that fixes it. If you open & close SB3 again, and you get the same message, try switching states again.
If you are unable to get it to work at all, carefully inspect the wiring for the E-stop and make sure that the cable isn't damaged and that it is properly seated in the control board. As stated, it *should* be setup as Normally Closed type of switch so that it would trigger an e-stop condition of the wire is severed.
