Setting up New Computer

Hey guys - thanks in advance for your help.

I'm installing a new computer to run the Shop Bot PRS Alpha -- Windows 7 Premier.

I've disabled any sleep/hibernation in power settings - and will also not be connecting this PC to the Network.

Question: What are some of the common settings I should address in Windows 7 (other than power management)?

Brent, Off the top of my head-Disable anti-virus, ANY automatic updates,scheduled tasks etc. to start. Keep an eye on the little action center icon-any reds,eliminate.

Be sure to go to 'Change advanced power settings' and drill through the list there, making sure to disable 'USB selective suspend'.

Screen saver to none.

I run the msconfig and see what is on the start up menu
