Personally all I've ever done is warm the spindle up. I've never bothered with anything else other than a visual check and occasional re-zeroing.
You can find maintenance schedules documents here - http://shopbottools.com/ShopBotDocs/maintenance.htm - the PRS daily checkup contains recommendations for warmups.

Well the "warm up" routine i start with is this...
I turn the spindle power supply on...then...
I start with some mild stretching, then about 10 sets of jumping jacks, followed by 20 pushups...by then the spindle is ready to go:eek::D:rolleyes:

While not really part of a warm-up routine, one thing that I do do , periodically is run the exercise program that come with SB3 - The current version includes a file called, sample_exrcis.sbp. It runs all axis's to their full extent in a loop. Particularly useful if you regularly use only a small portion of your table - keeps the rails evenly worn, and work hardened.
