Usb speed test

I was trying to find usb speed test in 314 can't find any body know where it is ?

Hi Kevin, Did you mean 3.8.14? If so, I stepped in at 3.8.4 and it wasn't there then. Learned later that you can test comm efficiency (sort of) by doing a short single axis move(say MX, 10) and then UD and look at bottom of screen and check Packet ET #. Under 20=Great, low 20's good, upper 20's sometimes work. I think that's right. People?

Oh. It has to be a single axis keyboard command move(might have been 4" for it to be apples to apples) NOT a Keypad Move. For instance in a keyboard move I get ET= 16.7, but in a multi axis Keypad move I get ET= 67. I hope that's what you need.
Do you have this?

Good information sorry I didn't explain its Sb3.8.14 the old one had a usb test but I can't find any thing did they leave it out ?

Hey Kevin, I searched high and low when I set up in Sept. and couldn't find it(3.8.4). Took me months to realize the Packet ET test was a similar test. Thanks Scott and Brady.

Kevin, 3.8.XX no longer uses the old SpeedTest.exe program. You'll find information on the new diagnostics Scott speaks of in C:\Program Files (x86)\ShopBot\ShopBot 3\Help\UD Diagnostic Notes.pdf
