How to setup this file?

I need to do some v carving on a customer's supplied cedar. In the photo, you can see the supports already glued and screwed in place. I need to carve in the taped area. How can I program the bit not to cut through the supports on it's way in to the carved area?

You have to either modify your Z Clearance parameters in the Material Setup screen to be above any obstacles or, just focus on the tape area by zeroing out the machine in XY at the bottom left edge & make a model that is smaller. There is no need to make the model the size of the panel.
