growling

My machine sometimes makes a growling noise as it is moving into position to start cutting. Is this normal or do I have a wrong setting.

Ours does this on occasion when jogging home.
Doesn't sound healthy, but there doesn't seem to be any play in the gearbox.

You probably have nothing to worry about as long as it's not a grinding noise. Its somewhat normal.
